Purpose: The Storage-Aware Routing (StAR) mailing list is an open forum for discussing store-and-forward routing in time-variant, disrupted, or delay-tolerant networks. The list focuses on use cases, requirements, and routing behaviors where decisions may depend on storage availability, scheduled contacts, or intermittent connectivity. Topics may include: • architectural and operational considerations, • interactions with Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN), • protocol behavior in dynamic or opportunistic topologies, • early ideas, prototypes, and potential solution approaches. This is a non-WG list aimed at collecting input, sharing ideas, and building common understanding before any future standardization efforts.
