Friis Trophy Team Racing Intersectional Tufts University April 8-9 Day Two Report: Oh the joys of the Collegiate N, We missed the offset leeward again. I hate to let everyone down, but Im just too tired to be clever this afternoon. Running races today was very frustrating. The morning started with a perfect 10-knot breeze from the NNW. By the late afternoon, we again had a perfect 10-knot breeze blowing from the SSE. The transitional period, however, was a little taxing on the race committee as marks were constantly being moved to match the shifts. It was also taxing on the competitors as the wind died before filling from the new direction. Overall, it was an extremely successful day. The sun was shining, and the temperatures were mild. Special thanks again to everyone who helped out today: John Tagliamonte, Lisa Keith, Garth Reynolds, the Tufts Freshmen, and Ken Radiation cant stop me! Legler.
