Bob, Re: z14, I haven't seen one. I believe the whitepaper I referred to was more to do with promoting the value of High Performance for FICON (zHPF) and the info about SAP utilization was really background info.

However, unless you have a very I/O intensive workload e.g. TPF system, normally there is sufficient SAP capacity for Z servers. The other point to note is SAPs on z14 servers also support SMT (Simultaneous Threading) as standard..
