IBM owns the interface spec for SDSF and HLASM CALL.  There are independent
standards for Rexx and COBOL, but IBM carries much weight.  Isn't COBOL
compatible with HLASM CALL?  and Rexx provides compatibility with ADDRESS
LINKMVS.  SDSF didn't need to go its own way.

Java, not so much, but perhaps with JNI?
