I had to carry one of those beasts up a flight of stairs. Luckily at the
time, I was 25 and in better shape. Then I got to argue with the police
lieutenant that the lock key had to be in the "on" position to use the
terminal. He kept insisting that in the "on" switch the terminal was
"insecure". I finally told him it was like an ignition key. If the key
isn't in and "on", the car won't run. And yes, it is "insecure".
