We had a fun one ... We had a STK Silo and we were getting "random" late afternoon barcode read error from the camera inside the Silo, CE would be called, Could find nothing wrong. This went on for about month or so, Not every day but a few times a week,
It stumped everyone, So the next time it happened, I send someone from operations up to "Look" around just after it happened. Turned out the setting sun was bouncing off the glass office building next door thru the window into the datacenter (We used to move equipment in/out of the data center 3rd floor location) into the little 4x6" viewing window into the silo. And for a few minutes it "Blinded" the camera looking at the tape barcodes where the sun's rays went thru. Field Fix ...
