We do a one hour moratorium as well. No IPL; just bring down CICS regions and don't run any business batch jobs. Really only because it will take much more than one hour of work to determine what affect "repeating times" might have on our business applications (which use local time). Why bother just to get back one hour per year? That's my philosophy, anyway.
