Correct. Most "historic" UNIX commands are both short and lower case.
Making them faster and easier to type on a KSR33 or other "teletype"
terminal.

Another thing, IMO, is that z/OS UNIX "suffers" for a lact of X-client
applications. So "point'n'click" is difficult to implement. But I don't
really believe that IBM is positioning z/OS UNIX as a "end user experience"
product. Just as an "back office infrastructure" product for things like
WAS, CICS Web Services, and so on, to use.
