That hasn't stopped anyone before - CA bought both ACF2 and TSS, after all. But yeah, it'll be interesting: BMC Unload Plus and CA FU, for one. Thing is, those products can likely be converged: given some sort of job converter (if that's even really necessary), they can push customers to one or the other. Plus they're utilities, so no end-user visibility. Not so much with ACF2/TSS, whose philosophies are so different that converting would have huge and lasting impact, including on end-users. Hence their continued existence as discrete products.
