Had to go to setup and add our proxy.
Then the 2 instruction pdf's and testfile downloaded fine with Download 
Director.

Barbara, I don't understand the problem you are describing.  What "popup"?  
When I suggest using HTTPS, I am referring to downloading from IBM's servers 
direct to your z/OS system.  This is done using SMP/E, and SMP/E can use either 
FTPS or HTTPS to actually copy the file across the network.  There is no web 
browser, no UI, no pop-up.  Just an SMP/E job.  I was not suggesting using the 
download links on your Shopz order page, which downloads the files to your 
workstation.
