Hi, If you have FlashCopy, you can create Point in Time backup copies and then dump them to tape. This is supported via the DB2 BACKUP SYSTEM utility and DFSMShsm FRBACKUP. You can also use DSS to create Image Copies. I think that it would be best if we have a call with you, DB2, DSS and HSM (myself) to discuss the various options available to backup DB2 data.
