Linux Only indicates using IFL's only which are not kneecapped like a GP engine may be. My IFL's are dedicated to the LPAR, unlike the Shared GP engines.

That certainly used to be true, but I'm not at all sure it still is the case. If I'm remembering right, z/VM licensing is the same for both CPs and IFLs. It's just that if you _do_ have a machine with both and you create a z/VM mode LPAR, then the z/VM licensing algorithm includes _all_ those processors instead of just CPs or just IFLs.
