How will you be using the data? LUW, Oracle, other? Do you use NFS or other accesses?
You can offload the VSAM with REPRO but then the receiving system would need to be able to read the data. If you could explain the process you will be using the VSAM data in, it will help. Also, what version of z/OS will it be accessed from?
