I will point out a "textual error" in the request. The fourth paragraph in
the Description reads:

<quote>
The lack of BASH being an officially supported part of z/OS UNIX System
Services (or at least of the z/OS Ported Tools package) is a major issue
for many installations. Relying on the non-supported public domain port of
BASH is unacceptable to many installations.
</quote>

Keeping in mind that I Am Not A Lawyer:
The use of the phrase "public domain port" is not correct. The BASH port
which runs on z/OS, along with the changes made my myself and by Rocket
Software __are and must be__ licensed under the GPL. The GPL is __NOT__ a
"public domain" license. This is a major faux pas and will likely cause the
IBM lawyers some gastric distress. I shudder to think what Eben Moglen or
~rms would say. Simply eliding the words "public domain" or replacing them
with "publicly available" would possibly be a good idea.
