I think that Gil initially had the impression that the file was actually somehow created on the Windows server. We now know that it came to that server from some bank. Likely originally from a z/OS system. And the bank refuses to change their procedures (whatever that may be) to use AMATERSE or TRANSMIT. Personally, I think the bank IT people need a trip behind the wood shed.
