A few questions 1) What level of z/OS? 2) How have you set up your GRSRNLxx member? 3) Is this a single LPAR or shared dasd in a plex? 4) Is this dasd shared between plexes? 5) What type of job is running when the "freeze" happens? Use a D GRS,C command when it occurs and look at the owning job
