Well, if there is a requirement to be in LINKLIB, then yes, by all means SMPE usermod. However, if it can be any library linklist accessible, then you have choices. If it were me I would find a way to use SMPE.

Is it a step too far to install it as an SMP/E usermod? I am thinking of deploying it to SAXREXEC (using a name alphabetically after I). However it also has a message table associated with it, which I could also maintain with SMP/E, but that message table has to be pushed through the HZSMSGEN utilitity to generate assembler source, which then needs to be assembled/linked into LINKLIB? Starting to look messy! Any thoughts gratefully received.
