Radoslaw I don't think there is a really good answer. I have no idea how many zPDT's are in use around The world but it more than 1000.
I don't know what the licensing fees look like. What is the cost increase? Hint: I'm aware it is not simple, but maybe second hand "business class" machine would be an option? Such machines, especially older generations can be really cheap. Yes, older generations don't support current OS versions, however in many cases it could be acceptable to run downlevel OS. And the advantage would be I/O - IMHO much better than on emulation. -- Radoslaw Skorupka Lodz, Poland W dniu 28.11.2025 o 16:59, Bfishing pisze: > The IBM Champion TechXchange forum has had a pretty lively discussion on > this topic, however I have not seen any official replies from IBM that > confirmed much.
