It is with profound sadness that I announce the death of David Boyes at the age of 60 following a multi-year period of ill-health.

On a personal note I will miss our many years of interesting conversations on all manner of subjects, his passion for the platform, our lunches and dinners, his loyalty, and his friendship. There is much more I'd like to say but things are raw at the moment and rather than rambling I'll keep it succinct and say I will feel his loss for years to come. My condolences to his family and to Margaret in particular who has managed running the company while tending to the many health needs of David over the last several years.
