Tom:
I understand your feelings. But walk a mile in my shoes. Or is
Steve Beaver's shoes.
I have had a contractor working with me, who had not realized
that he had two recruiters that he was going through to work on
the project that I was on. And he was having to wait 60 days to
get paid.
Then was the recruiting company pretending to be the primary
contractor, and said to us that if we wanted paid in 30 days we
needed to give up 2% of our invoice. That was when we decided to
drop that contract before we signed.
That brings up yet another problem. They want to do everything
minimalist including using emails.... But they don't have the
budget for electronic signatures.....
Just walk a mile in our shoes.
I have others that I worked with at IRS (just a short 2 months
ago) that I am having to explain to them how these recruiters
work. How to spot the scammers.
Maybe only a quarter of a mile will get you to understand.

Personally, I rather you just skip over any offers that don't
meet your needs, instead of making responses like that which
can reflect on all of us.

Itel sold very unreliable IBM-compatible disk drives. Their
claim to fame was suing GSA for requiring rather modest
reliability levels with the claim that they were impossible to
meet. Memorex had no trouble meeting the requirement.
