There is a parm called LOGONHERE which allows multiple logins in any plex lpar
by the same ID

We have been using this since 2012 without issue.

That's ridiculous, I do it all the time, and so do hundreds of other sites.
Lionel Dyck had some directions previously, but there are some on the CBT tape
as well. It's just a matter of making sure that your personal ISPF datasets
don't have the same name. Typically you insert the LPAR name in the dataset
names for them so that you don't try to allocate the same ones.

All other datasets are fine to share, it's just the personal ISPF ones
(ISPPROF, etc. that you have to worry about). It should take you jsut a few
minutes to set it up.
