The JES2 parm deck will be named whatever your sysprogs wanted it to be named, not necessarily "JES2PARM". You'd need to find the JCL for JES2 itself to find what your installation use (assuming the deck's name is hardcoded there, otherwise - as you say - find the command used to start JES2 - maybe in whatever you use for ops automation? Why not just ask your sysprogs?
