Yes, I meant for Jason's use case.  I was involved in getting z/OS running in 
the ZVDT/Wazi environment,
so I am aware of those things.

I assume you meant ?for the uses Jason Cai described,? and (if so) I agree.



To be clear, IBM licenses z/OS (and IBM software products for z/OS) to run on 
IBM LinuxONE servers, and on IFLs on IBM Z machines, for certain limited 
purposes. The product that facilities these specific, limited, licensed 
purposes is called IBM Virtual Dev and Test for z/OS. Here?s the product?s

IBM Cloud offers a comparable service that runs on IBM hosted machines:

However, to reiterate, ZVDT/Wazi, and its associated z/OS licensing, do not fit 
the uses Jason Cai described. I suggest that Jason contact IBM to obtain a 
suitable z/OS license for his needs. Or contact a z/OS licensee who has a 
suitable commercial license from IBM for his usage and who is willing to 
provide hosting services.
