I know of a client that does not have a TCP/IP stack, and won't consider one (OS/390 2.10, yeah you read that right), that needs something more reliable than IND$FILE. We have a need to transfer large binary datasets, and IND$FILE is way too slow, and it often dies in the middle of a large transfer.
I remember LU 6.2 transfer programs. But, I couldn't find anything still available. Sorry for tagging on to another thread.
