The document at this URL states: z/OS MVS Programming: Callable Services for High Level Languages is updated to add a new chapter after 'Part 10: SMF Services' as follows: 'Part 11: Cloud Data Access Services'. However, when I use either google or an IBM URL (https://www-40.ibm.com/servers/resourcelink/svc00100.nsf/pages/zOSV2R5Library?OpenDocument) to search for this document, I only find an earlier version without the additional Part 11. It converts z/OS data sets and UNIX files to cloud objects and visa-versa. This enables utilizing cloud object storage as a method for z/OS sharing data, such as SMF, as opposed to FTPing. Use GDKUTIL to write the data to object storage for shared access across sysplexes / platforms and visa-versa - ingest off-platform data into z/OS.
