for 50 years. I have never seen anything like the following:

So let me get this straight: Parts fail, you replace them, then recode the
system?
I am at a loss as to exactly what Mainframe works like this. IBM is making the only true
business mainframe, and I have been there for loads of parts replacements, and I have
NEVER had to "recode" the system afterward.
