I just found found the following OPERCMDS profile: MVS.PURGE.MSS
Current manual says it is for PURGE command. However another current
manual does not document such command.
Note, it is not JES2 command.
Q: what is it? Is it something related to IBM 3850 MSS?
Not to be confused with the "stoP" command which I have heard some
operators pronounce "Purge".
STOP is covered by MVS.STOP.nnnnnnnnnnnnn
While some operators can be wrong, the documentation is more reliable.
And it is unlikely to print PURGE instead of STOP, because it is
separate row with its own MVS.PURGE.MSS string.
I suspect it is obsolete command. Reasons:
1. I also found profiles covering TCAM (not VTAM) in the same system.
And IMS (no IMS in this shop, ever).
2. I remember documentation with some sample JCL and UNIT=3350. Or CVOL
in IDCAMS doco.
