You didn't complete the explanation, but I'm reminded that after I got my new tower PC, I had to move my paper shredder; too close t the PC and it acted as an EMP whenever it came on suddenly. I'm guessing that's what was happening here?
I had my son build me that tower. Maybe a store-bought model would have had better shielding. --- Bob Bridges, [email protected], cell 336 382-7313 /* When weeding, the best way to make sure you're removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. We would check the controller and everything looked fine. Then one day, someone got a Coke out of the soda machine while we were standing there trying to figure things out. The controller lost power, however briefly, and IML'd itself. The next day, the controller had been moved elsewhere. 😊 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
