Rocket have access to PL/X only for the products that we develop for IBM.

Some of those divested products were originally coded in PL/X or a mixture of
PL/X and ASM.

How do you happen to have PL/X?

No "tooling" should be needed. IBM tries to make UNIX file support
transparent. But "tries" must be emphasized. IBM fixed two APARs for me for
nested HLASM COPY members when SYSLIB was a concatenated mixture of PDS and
UNIX directories. I suspect the problem was in BPAM but I encountered it in
HLASM. I can't imagine how they fixed it.
