Working for an outsourcer years ago we had clients that hand NO downtime
using the sysplex as it was designed. that's what IBM sold them/us for
100% up time, just sayin :)
workloads moved around the plex as maint was applied, lpars were moved
to new hardware with no outage to the plex....
