I'm going to ASSume that "the $EmulatorY modally favored in this thread" refers to Vista. With Vista, you can copy/paste any portion of the contents of the screen as text (including the entire screen if desired), which IMHO is much better than a screenshot tool that unconditionally copies the entire screen contents.
