Suppose you've got this great idea of doing something, like converting PCRE for use on z/OS, or keeping your CBTTape up to date while out of work, or writing a (SPFLite) clone of the ISPF editor and you need the reference?

Or suppose you want to create something without giving the copyright to your employer because you wrote it on their equipment, but you'll only be able to pay for a legal ADCD license with the money generated by your new software?

Or suppose you just want to stop your skills from becoming too rusty when you're temporarily out of work?
