That was several years ago. ISPF has become more UNIX-friendly in the interim. DDLIST remains BAD. I routinely use UNIX directories in my SYSEXEC catenation, but the first catenand must not not be a UNIX directory. I reported this as a problem, and IBM says, "Not supported." They give the appearance of not caring.
