The interface to control a program usage of zIIPs is a licensed feature that ISVs will build into their products - it is not something that is exposed to "normal" customers.
If you wish to disable zIIP processing for a specific program step, your only options as I see it are : (1) Contact the vendor of the program to see if they have any runtime options to disable the zIIP usage by their code Or (2) Put a "wait on WTOR" jobstep in the JCL before the program jobstep and then manually vary the zIIP processor offline before replying to the WTOR. Option (2) is obvious overkill - however it might be possible on a non-production system without too many complaints :-) Rob Scott Lead Developer Rocket Software 77 Fourth Avenue . Suite 100 . The disable should be only for this STEP. Any hint appreciated, with best regards Monika ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
