isn't what I'm looking for.
Wild guess: you can set current locale in the program.
BTW: how to start using polish characters in "pure z/OS" (TSO, ISPF,
JCL): do ...nothing on the host side, just configure your 3270 emulator
to use CP870.
BTW1a: very few emulators do it correctly
BTW2: How to configure SDSF to display polish characters: use TRTAB
CODPAG(CP00870) in ISFPRMxx.
BTW3: How to configure DFS/SMB to use polish characters (with Windows
client). Use CP870 *and* CP1250 (polish codepage on Windows).
BTW3a: there are *several* polish codepages, I'm aware of more than 10,
3-4 of them are in wide usage (CP852, CP1250, ISO8859-2, Mazovia).
