Most people, especially US, would likely consider CP-037 to be the "z/OS code page" because that is the only one supported by JCL, and the main one for COBOL. z/OS UNIX seems to "like" IBM-1047 which is generally compatible with CP-037 (other than those pesky []{}\| characters).
