Why? I don't understand this comment, because JCL parm is always only one parm; no variable length address list ... what do I get wrong? Well, the JCL parm itself has variable length, but the length of the address list is fixed, always one. And: I dont know if the system sets the high order bit of the address of the JCL parm - I just don't care.
