Hi Lizette, Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'll apply the patch the manual talks about to see if there's a reason why not all the CPxxxx volumes are being used. I do think that the problem that I'm having is this one; "The volumes might be in a different control unit." When I looked at my hardware configuration profile I found the following control units defined:
CU Type + CUADD 8000 2107 0 8100 2107 1 8200 2107 2 8300 2107 3 8400 2107 4 8500 2107 5 8600 2107 6 8700 2107 7 8800 2107 8 8900 2107 9 8A00 2107 A 8B00 2107 B 8C00 2107 C 8D00 2107 D 9000 2107 10 9100 2107 11 9200 2107 12 9300 2107 13 9400 2107 14 9500 2107 15 9600 2107 16 9700 2107 17 The fact the the SMS Storage Group PROD is having the problem, must be caused by the fact the that the disk volumes are on different control units. To solve this problem, the CPxxxx volumes must me on the same control unit as the source; if I'm reading this correctly. This is going to be tough!
