Without a description of how the file is corrupted we are shooting in the dark.
I can think of a few possible problems. 1) The data needs re-blocking, try the IBM utility AFRREBLK. Compiling this Rexx code highly recommended for production use. 2) No RDW due to transmission parameters. 3) Translation of data by the transmission when none is needed.
