Well, thank you, John! That was almost exactly the information I needed. With the following adjustments, I was able to get the job done. * It doesn't look like I need to start with "ISPF TEST". Just "ISPF" seems to work just fine.
   * On my system, the Tables Utility is at =3.16.
* Once within the Utility, to get at the EDIT profiles, I needed to provide the ddname "ISPPROF".
   * And on my system the table name is, indeed, "ISREDIT".
* If I omit the "Option" and "Table Name" fields on the "ISPF Table Utility" page:
       * I am shown a list of all profile members
* I than can issue "E" on the "ISREDIT" line to open that table for editing.
       * This displays a named list of profiles within "ISREDIT".
* I can then use the "D" line command to delete the profiles I want to get rid of.

So thanks, John, for putting me on the right track.

I'm sure somebody does. Is that your question? <grin>

The edit profiles individual rows in the ISREDIT table. You can manually deleted by using ISPF TEST, option 4 (Tables). But the table is not "keyed", so you must search it for the proper row number to delete.

Well, I "lied" a bit (if "not 100% complete truth" == "lie"). ISREDIT is the "normal" table name, but the ISR prefix can be different if the ISPF application is not "ISR". Eg, when you edit in SDSF, the prefix is ISF instead of ISR. So the table name is then ISFEDIT. In general, it is abcEDIT where abc can vary.
