That is exactly what I am afraid of. It looks like colleagues of him, with a background of differents Oses, are treating z/OS like the others and drawing conclusion on z/OS figures from rules that are only valid for other OSs resulting in actions that are completely irrelevant to z/OS platforms. E.g.: if some platforms are >30% busy, performance begins to collapse. Extrapolating this to z/OS, will result in a very expensive z/OS configuration.
