It may become important at any time. Perhaps more important, its currently irrelevant incorrectness can be problematic anyway. Its lack of what anglophone (and I suspect also Polish) psychologists call "face validity" will all but certainly lead someone who notes that it is wrong to waste much time eliminating its incorrect value as the source of some other problem.
