I'm sure Frank Y. will chime in here, but in my experience it is wisest NOT to use any SORTWKnn DD statements at all and instead let DFSORT dynamically allocate what it determines that it needs. I would also specify as much REGION as you can get, at least 512M or (if you are allowed by IEFUSI exit et. al.) then use as close to 2G as you can get (here that is about 1784M).
