Why do you beat your wife? 

A suggestion is only a suggestion; some pan out, others don't. Solving
a problem involves multiple blind alleys, and unless you're Uri Geller
you don't know ahead of time which approaches will be blind alleys.

I take it that should you post a question on the list, you won't be
interested in any potential solutions, since they might turn out to be
useless.
