The expressions to which I refer in the quoted post are described in the only 
relevant IBM web site of which I am aware which deals with these matters, 
namely

It exists, it is *real*!!!

Adopt it and you won't catch any more crabs[1].

Would that IBM developers -- especially the - I'm guessing - "conscript" who 
put together the Health Checker labels -- and the editors of IBM manuals had 
done the same.
