Can you tell us what the SMPPTS current size is?

An SMPPTS can be compressed, it can be expanded by creating a new one, copying
old to new, delete old rename new one to original name. It is a PDS. So long
as you are not running a RECEIVE or APPLY at the time, Someone is not in the
SMPPTS, you can do these things in batch or in TSO/ISPF.

Or you can create an SMPPTSx where x = 1 to 99. Just make sure to update all
of your zones with the additional names.

Subject: SMPPTS run out of Space

Hello,
While applying RSU, I am running out of space issue in SMPPTS
library. Can
somebody help me to resolve this issue.

I think we can create SMPPTS spill dataset and then add these new
dataset
DDDEF entry to all three zone. Or can we define new SMPPTS dataset and move
all
data from old SMPPTS to new SMPPTS and delete the old one.

Please send me smaple JCL, if you have it .
