Thanks to all for your input. It looks like we have a plan, though, not as straight forward as one would expect. Having to recreate every VRS that uses one of the changing locations seems like a bug, but alas, so it be written, so it be done.

Looks like you are on an older release that needs extra work, because rmm was changed in z/OS R11 to simplify the procedure needed for such a management type change. From R11 on, that is no longer required.
