I would like to tell you that the scenario is a fantasy and that you
have nothing to worry about. I would like for that to be true. Alas,
it isn't true and my honesty precludes trying to reassure you.
My take is that most companies will dismiss your concerns until it
happens, then demand to know why you weren't prepared once[1] it
happens.
Note that EOP has another meaning in the mainframe world; it's a
control that you should not activate except to prevent death or bodily
injury.
