I have Ported Tools installed on my 1.11 system and when I issue the command ls -E after a cd /usr/lpp/perl/lib/5.8.7/os390-thread-multi/CORE/ command I get the following:
-rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 1751 Oct 20 2009 EXTERN.h -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 1424 Oct 20 2009 INTERN.h -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 17933 Oct 20 2009 XSUB.h -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 3044 Oct 20 2009 av.h -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 2196 Oct 20 2009 cc_runtime.h . . . -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 6195 Oct 20 2009 keywords.h -rwxr-xr-x --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 3477504 Oct 20 2009 libperl.so -rw-r--r-- --s- 2 OMVSKERN OMVSGRP 154880 Oct 20 2009 libperl.x . . When I do the same on my z/OS 1.9 system I get the following: # ls -E total 0 Any idea as to why I do not get the same display as my 1.11 system? I do have Ported tools installed on my 1.9 system.
