Forum Against Sex Selection (FASS) is an informal network of over 50 organizations and individuals, who have been working on issues of gender, health and human rights for more than two decades. FASS was formed in April 2011 to renew the campaign against declining sex ratio. It collectively addresses all key issues related to sex selection, gender discrimination leading to sex-selection and gender inequality. The FASS campaign also addresses the reasons for the bias against girls/women as revealed by the skewed sex ratio as shown in the 2011 Census Report.
